With more than 20 years of experience in the luxury hospitality industry, Thomas Harlander is the Managing Director of Rosewood Bangkok to manage and oversee all aspects of the ultra-luxury hotel in a prime location within Bangkok’s central business district along Ploenchit Road, within an enclave encompassing embassies, new residential towers, offices and upscale retail.

Born and raised in Germany, Harlander’s successful career has taken him around the world. Mr. Harlander brings with him a wealth of luxury hospitality experience from many different locations, including Washington DC, Cologne, London, Los Angeles, Buenos Aries, Tokyo, and Seoul. Prior to joining Rosewood, his career has largely been spent with Hyatt hotels, primarily in the Park Hyatt brand where he held senior roles through food and beverage to general management. Mr. Harlander began his career after graduating from Simon-Knoll-School in Munich, Germany, with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Hotel Management.
