About

Tarana Haque has been a design engineer with CAST CONNEX for several years, specializing in custom-designed castings and product development, and is currently the Technical Sales Specialist for Canada. Tarana holds a Bachelor and a Master of Applied Science degree from the University of Toronto, and has been the recipient of the G.J. Jackson Fellowship Award, and the CIDECT President Award, amongst other awards, fellowships and scholarships. Her project highlights include the cast steel design for the Salesforce Transit Center in San Francisco, CA, the Fanny Appleton Pedestrian Bridge in Boston, MA, and The Leaf: Diversity Gardens in Winnipeg, MB. Tarana is a registered professional engineer in the Province of Ontario, and with her background in creative and innovative solutions, she is excited to be a member of Toronto’s Future Leaders Committee with the Council of Tall Building and Urban Habitat.
