About

Tai Thai is an Australian Research Council (ARC) Future Fellow and Associate Professor of Structural Engineering in the Department of Infrastructure Engineering at The University of Melbourne (UoM). He is also the recipient of ARC DECRA Fellowship from the ARC. He received his PhD in Structural Engineering from Sejong University and spent seven years of postdoctoral training at Sejong University, Hanyang University, and The University of New South Wales prior to joining La Trobe University and UoM as a Senior Lecturer. He is Chief Editor for Shock and Vibration, an Editorial Board Member of Scientific Reports –Nature, and a member of Standards Australia Committee BD32,contributing to the development of the new AS/NZS2327 Standard for composite buildings.
