About

Punpong Wiwatkul is the director of Somdoon Architects, an architecture firm based in Bangkok Thailand. He graduated from Chulalongkorn University, Thailand in 1999. Besides his works at Somdoon Architects, Punpong is the visiting professor and lecturer at the Faculty of Architecture, Chulalongkorn University.

As he gained recognition from low-rise to high-rise residential projects, Punpong also leads a wide variety of projects from hotels, offices, and mixed-use development. Over the past 21 years, his project has been recognized by international and won several internationally-acclaimed awards including the Best Tall Building Awards organized by CTBUH (Council on Tall Building and Urban Habitat) in 2014 and 2015.
