Sune Theil has close to 25 years of Design, Project and Construction leadership experience. He has obtained a wide range of skills to successfully lead and execute large scale projects, from initial design brief development to construction completion.
Sune possesses a comprehensive understanding of Client’s requirements and he has, on many projects been able to take the project well beyond Client’s aspirations to both design, brand positioning and project feasibility.
During his 20 years in Dubai he has established himself as a visionary design lead of leisure, luxury and ultra-luxury hospitality projects.
With a background spanning across design consultancy, hospitality lead for developer and design director for one of the world’s top hospitality companies he has a profound insight and holistic understanding of all aspects of designing, developing and executing memorable experiential world-class hospitality projects.
His background has given him a strong well-integrated work relationship with all main design disciplines on a hospitality project, namely the synergistic relationship between the design led disciplines (architecture, interior design and landscape.) He has during his career worked with most of the world-leading hotel brands and Operators.
Sune also have substantial knowledge in residential and commercial projects, ranging from private villas to large scale/high-rise, mixed-use projects.
As a Design Principal, Sune is responsible for the overall execution of a project; from the early design work on concept and space planning, through design development and construction documentation to handling site coordination.
This process typically involves Client interaction, brief assessment, code and operator compliance, coordinated with all sub consultants and assisting Client through tender appraisal and contractor’s appointment.
