Stefan is a Principal at HOK. Based in Toronto, he is responsible as senior design leader for high-profile, complex projects across North America.

With over 25 years experience, he is providing design direction and guidance on developing innovative, high-performing design solutions that take steps towards a carbon-neutral future.

Previously, Stefan has been in design leadership roles at Foster+Partners and Atkins, where he delivered award-winning projects across Asia and the UK.

With a master’s degree in Architecture from KIT in Germany and IIT in Chicago, and he is a licensed Architect in the UK and Germany.

Stefan is an active member of the Architecture and Design community, a guest critic in academia and mentor for emerging professionals at Urban Land Institute and CTBUH. As an accredited LEED Professional he is advocating for sustainable design on many speaking engagements.
