Senam Kumahia joined Carpenter & Company in 2017 as a project manager for the new Four Seasons Hotel and Private Residences New Orleans. Prior to Carpenter & Company, he was a senior consultant at KAGE Growth Strategies, a consulting firm focused on developing diversity and inclusion strategies for large real estate development projects, where he worked on large hotel and mixed-use projects throughout Boston. Prior to KAGE, he was an associate at JLL Boston, where he focused on business development and investment opportunities throughout the New England region.

Senam Kumahia is from Boston and is extensively involved in various philanthropic efforts throughout the city. He is a board member at Boys & Girls Clubs of Dorchester, Greater Boston YMCA Huntington Avenue, and Artists for Humanity. He is also former Chairman of the Boston Renaissance Charter Public School. Kumahia was named to Boston Business Journal’s 2016 40 under 40 list, and in 2015 was selected to be a member of Former Boston Mayor Martin J. Walsh’s ONEin3 Council.

He received a bachelor’s degree from Dartmouth College.
