Mr. Onda has been a director at Nikken Sekkei LTD’s architectural design department since 2019. His work stretches from luxury apartment building and mixed-use office skyscrapers, to lake shore villa houses and Toshiba Smart Buildings - environmentally friendly, low-cost model buildings .

He mainly works in Japan for clients such as Sumitomo Realty & Development Co. Ltd, a major Japanese developer. Some of his awarded works include La-zona Kawasaki Toshiba Building (winner of the 2014 Japan Good Design Award) and On the Water (4 Final shortlists in the Architecture Review 2018_residence category).
