Sarah joined LanzaTech in 2015, relocating to Chicago from Beijing where she worked in the US-China clean energy sector. At LanzaTech, she has held diverse roles, including positions in corporate development and leading the company's Project Management Office.

Driven by her commitment to sustainability, Sarah spearheaded key initiatives, including assembling a cross-company volunteer group to assess LanzaTech's operational carbon footprint and produce its first internal sustainability report. She also founded the company's inaugural employee resource group focused on diversity, equity, inclusion, and access.

In early 2022, Sarah became LanzaTech's first ESG Manager, tasked with building the company's ESG program from the ground up. She develops and implements strategies to enhance corporate ESG performance while ensuring compliance with relevant standards and regulations. Her role includes overseeing sustainability initiatives, engaging with stakeholders, and managing ESG-related risks and opportunities. Sarah's responsibilities have since expanded to include developing LanzaTech's enterprise risk management (ERM) program.

Sarah holds a B.A. in Anthropology and Economics from Brandeis University and is fully bilingual in English and Mandarin Chinese.
