Samu Salmelin heads Technology and Offering Development at KONE Major Projects. Salmelin has been with KONE since 1998 in a variety of business and technology related leadership positions. Currently, in his role he leads the offering development for KONE Major Project customers in high-rise and infrastructure markets.

In his previous role in KONE's Technology & Innovation unit, he had overall global responsibility for R&D of Services and Solutions. The focus of this unit is to develop innovative new services and solutions to the market in close collaboration with customers and partners.
