Russell has over 20 years of valuable experience across a number of roles within the construction insurance broking sector. In Russell’s current role he leads the Owners and Developers team within Gallagher Specialty’s Construction and Real Estate division where he is responsible for advising on programme and placement structures for large and complex projects and driving growth across the team.

He has held this role since June 2021, prior to that Russell has gained experience advising Owners on a wide variety of projects globally, with a particular focus on large scale commercial office developments in the UK and North America and some of the largest Civil Engineering projects in Asia and Europe including tunnels, bridges and roads. He has detailed knowledge of insurance related challenges specific to high rise developments and has worked with numerous leading Owners and Developers and their professional teams to discuss how these risks are mitigated and then articulated to the insurance market, in order to achieve optimum terms.

Russell holds a BA(Hons) in International Business.
