About

Roland is a Senior Partner with Foster + Partners and contributes more than 20 years of professional experience to the CTBUH Awards Programme. He trained at the Architectural Association in London before joining the firm in 2000 and since then he has overseen the design and delivery of commercial and residential projects worldwide, with a particular focus on South East Asia. His work has been awarded the RIBA International Award on two occasions. He is the leader of our Singapore office and after living in equatorial climates for more than 15 years, he has developed a particular passion for tropical architecture and his research on vernacular building forms informs the studios ongoing projects in the region.
