Rodney is an experienced structural engineer with 19 years in the field, starting in Australia before moving to the Middle East 11 years ago. Currently, he is the Managing Director for the MENA region at Robert Bird Group, overseeing business operations, growth strategy and project delivery. Key projects under Rodney’s leadership include ICD-Brookfield Place in Dubai, Emporium Redevelopment in Melbourne and, more recently, delivering the design of assets within NEOM Trojena and Qiddiya in KSA.

With a keen interest in tall building design, Rodney also focuses on Design for Manufacture and Assembly (DfMA) and strategies for building refurbishment and re-use, aiming to promote sustainability in construction. His work demonstrates a commitment to innovative and efficient engineering solutions.
