About

Richard is an Incorporated Civil Engineer with over a decade of experience in temporary and permanent works design within the management contracting arena. He has worked extensively in both Australia and the UK. For the past four years, he has been with the main contractor Multiplex, where he focuses on pre-construction engineering and project delivery for numerous buildings, inclusive of several tall buildings in the City of London.

Richard’s wide engagement within the construction industry can be seen in his participation in the ICE (Institution of Civil Engineers), and his work in the digital transformation community of practice. He was also closely involved with the UK launch of the Handbook for the Design of Modular Structures in early 2018. He has a keen interest in renewable materials and sustainable practices with a particular interest in engineered wood products.
