Dr. Phan Quang Minh is currently a professor of structural engineering and the Dean of the Faculty of Building and Industrial Construction at the National University of Civil Engineering (Vietnam). His area of expertise is on the behavior of tall reinforced concrete buildings and high strength concrete structures. He has a Ph.D and a Master’s degree from Sofia University (Bulgaria) in Architecture and Civil Engineering.
He is an author of 4 technical books and more than 30 papers on topics including: pre-stressed concrete, high strength concrete, and the behavior of tall reinforced concrete buildings.
Dr. Minh has designed more than 20 tall buildings in Vietnam, four of which consist of 40-55 stories. In addition, he has been a private consulting Engineer for many tall buildings, including the supertall building of Petro Vietnam. Phan Quang has also been a member of the Vietnam Committee for Quality Acceptance of National Projects since 2005 and is an Executive Board Member of the Vietnam Association of Structural Engineering and Construction Technology.
