Dato SR Peter Tan trained at Victoria Public Works Department, Australia and graduated from the University of Melbourne with a Bachelor of Building (Quantity Surveying) Degree in 1978. Dato SR Peter Tan founded Perunding Kos T & K Sdn Bhd in 1997. His leadership and dedication in the field has led the Company to receive Quantity Surveying Team of the Year 2019 Award from Royal Institution of Charted Surveyors (RICS). He was elected as Chairman for MABC Malaysia Australia Business Council and has been recognised as a Fellow of The Australian Institute of Quantity Surveyors (AIQS) for over 31 years. He is a registered CQS with the Board of Quantity Surveyors Malaysia (Lembaga Juruukur Bahan Malaysia), registered CQS with AIQS, and a Member of The Royal Institution of Surveyors Malaysia (RISM), Jemaah Dato-Dato Negeri Perak and FIABCI Malaysia.
