Onur Ihtiyar is skilled in the structural analysis and design of a variety of building types, ranging from commercial and residential towers to mixed-use complexes and world-class sports venues. He is currently serving as a Vice President in New York office of Thornton Tomasetti with a focus on the seismic design of structures including Performance Seismic Based Design. During his 15+ year career, Mr. Ihtiyar worked on the design of prestigious structures such as Barclays Arena and 30 Hudson Yards in New York City, Ministry of Taxation Tower, SOCAR Tower and Baku Olympic Stadium in Azerbaijan, Al-Thumama FIFA WorldCup Stadium in Qatar.
