As the Design Director at Perkins&Will Houston, Mide champions Perkins&Will’s Living Design framework, an initiative that ensures all projects meet the highest standards of wholistic and complete Design Excellence, one centered around innovation, rigor, and beauty.

He brings a unique design and project sector expertise to projects ranging from Campus Master planning, Corporate Commercial, Retail & Entertainment, Civic, Cultural, Science & Technology, plus Healthcare. In his past work experience, Mide served as Senior design lead with international firms (RTKL, HOK and Gensler) on multiple award-winning projects globally. Mide is currently a lecturer at the University of Maryland, School of Architecture and a visiting juror at Catholic University, Howard University, Morgan State University and Rice University. He served on the Board of Directors of the American Institute of Architects AIA|DC.
