Michela Martini, Technical Director and lead of the WSP’s London Building Performance and Sustainability team, has over a decade of experience in the UK construction industry. Her expertise spans sustainability strategies, low-energy building design, daylight and thermal modelling, and carbon studies. She integrates technical analysis and environmental policies into innovative design solutions, enhancing social value and community well-being through sustainable, energy-efficient buildings. Michela holds dual MSc degrees in Environmental Design and Building Engineering and is a Chartered Engineer and Registered Architect.

Michela has been working on led high-profile projects such as One Undershaft, Tottenham Hotspur Football Stadium, the Bethnal Green Gasholder regeneration scheme and The London Tunnels visitor attraction.

Her multidisciplinary approach and client-focused service lead to successful outcomes in developing sustainable, innovative design solutions for new buildings, as well as for retrofitting and regenerating existing ones, significantly enhancing the sustainability and efficiency of the built environment.
