About

Michael Palmer is an architect and was a principal with Perkins&Will prior to retirement. He has been widely recognized for his expertise in managing the design of large, complex projects, including office, mixed-use and educational facilities. Palmer’s internationally-renowned projects include three towers in the King Abdullah Financial District and the all-women Princess Nora University, both in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. Other completed projects include Chicago’s Block 37 office tower and the high-rise Jones High School. Two major projects he contributed to which are still under construction are the new 385-meter office-hotel "Iconic Tower" in Cairo and the new stadium for Nothwestern University in Evanston, Illinois. He has degrees from the University of Pennsylvania and University of Notre Dame.
