Mike Ferreira is the Vice President for New Offer Management at JENSEN HUGHES. He is a licensed professional engineer and degreed fire protection engineer from Worcester Polytechnic Institute.
Mike is a co-author of the ASHRAE Smoke Control Handbook, and is an instructor for both the SFPE and NFPA smoke control seminars. He is a recognized expert in smoke control system design, modeling, and commissioning testing and has worked on high-rise projects throughout the U.S. He has authored multiple papers on the use of multi-zone modeling for smoke control system design and evaluating issues pertaining to stair and elevator pressurization systems.
