After completing his degree in civil engineering at the University of Stuttgart, Michael Duder worked in a renowned Stuttgart engineering office and was involved in numerous projects worldwide in a position of
responsibility. In addition to wide-span and filigran construction projects, he has contributed his expertise to many high-rise buildings.
Since 2011, Michael Duder has been headed up the Structural Engineering at
Drees & Sommer, where, as an Associate Partner and Competence Officer, he is responsible for the further development of this department worldwide.
His areas of specialization include structural engineering and consulting, general technical planning, acquisition, architectural consulting, and lightweight construction. At Drees & Sommer he is responsible for structural engineering with a special focus on intelligent, materialoptimized designs.
