Meghan McDermott has been with Robert A.M. Stern Architects since 1997 and has been a Partner in the firm since 2008. She was responsible for the design and management of the 57-story, 1.2-million-square-foot Comcast Center, the tallest LEED Gold building in the U.S. at the time of its certification; Torre Almirante, a 36-story, 640,000-squarefoot office tower in downtown Rio de Janeiro; Five Crescent Drive, a LEED double- Platinum office building for GlaxoSmithKline at the Philadelphia Navy Yard; the 25-story, 650,000-square-foot One Horizon Center and 14-acre master plan in Gurgaon, Haryana, India; and the 35-story, 485,000-square-foot Tour Carpe Diem at La Défense in Paris, France, the first building to both achieve LEED Platinum certification and exceed French Haute Qualité Environnementale regulations.
