Matthew Holloway has over 25 years’ international experience delivering major projects across sectors. Leading Grimshaw projects in Melbourne, Kuala Lumpur, and London, he plays an integral part in the growth of Grimshaw’s diverse portfolio, with expertise in commercial and mixed-use development.

Regionally Holloway has led the design of the TRX Lifestyle Quarter in Kuala Lumpur, a Lendlease TRXC JV, including The Exchange Mall, Kimpton Hotel and Singgah Sana (sunken plaza). He has also led several other projects in SE Asia such as the Bandar Malaysia Masterplan, Singapore Ministry of Sustainability, and a new international university campus in Malaysia. He was also lead architect for Olderfleet in Melbourne, CTBUH Best Tall Office Building 2022 Award of Excellence winner and the World Architecture Festival (WAF) Office Building of the Year in 2021. Passionate about innovation in the design industry and the adoption of modern methods of construction, Holloway leads Grimshaw’s input to the Construction Innovation Hub in the UK.
