Maria Fernandez Cachafeiro is Head of Sustainability at Multiplex with over 10 years’ experience driving social and environmental sustainability within the built environment, in the UK and abroad. In her current role, she is responsible for all aspects of ESG, including delivery of the 2030 strategies: One Decade to Act, the Multiplex roadmap to decarbonization, and ‘Leave no one behind’, the social equity strategy. She is a member of the World Green Building Council’s Corporate Advisory Board, the BCO (British Council for Offices) ESG Committee and co-chair of the UK's Supply Chain Sustainability School’s Modern Slavery group.
