Sound Transit, Manager, Transit-Oriented Development
Mara D’Angelo is Sound Transit’s Transit-Oriented Development Manager, overseeing a program that transforms the agency’s surplus properties into community-supported, transit-accessible development projects, with a strong emphasis on affordable housing creation. Mara worked previously as Director of Special Projects for Baltimore’s Department of Housing and Community Development, a Program Manager for Smart Growth America, and a Presidential Management Fellow for the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development. Mara has a BA from Tufts University and a Master of Public Policy from the University of Maryland.
