About

As a Principal of DeSimone’s Structural Engineering Practice, Luis F. Ramirez has amassed a diverse portfolio of projects including high-rise office and residential towers, mixed-use developments, resorts, and healthcare facilities. He recently completed the design of Zaha Hadid’s One Thousand Museum, which is awarded one of CTBUH’s Best Tall Buildings of 2020.

Ongoing projects in Miami include One Bayfront Plaza, the first tower to rise above 1,000 feet in Florida; the world’s first guitar-shaped hotel at Seminole Hard Rock Hollywood Hotel and Casino; and the 47-story UNA residential tower designed with Adrian Smith + Gordon Gill Architecture.
