Linda Chiarelli has been involved in various roles in the construction process over the past 40 years, including work as an engineer on both design and construction management, together with 10 years of construction litigation. She is a graduate of The Cooper Union School of Engineering and Brooklyn Law School. Linda is currently Senior Vice President for Capital Projects and Facilities for NYU and is responsible for the planning, construction and operation of all NYU-owned and many leased buildings in New York. She is responsible for a $3.9 billion capital plan and over 15 million square feet (278709 square meters) of space.
