Leone’s work is driven by the understanding that commercial construction and community are deeply interwoven—each shaping and influencing the other. They emphasize that a strong, intentional relationship between the two is essential to driving the industry and built environment to new heights. By fostering these connections, Leone ensures that construction isn’t just about buildings—it’s about the people, businesses, and communities they serve.
Prior to joining Turner, Leone refined their expertise in business development and community impact at Apple, where they oversaw operations across Pennsylvania. Their work focused on connecting small and medium-sized businesses with cutting-edge technology solutions, while also leading racial equity, justice, and community sustainability initiatives. This experience solidified their passion for integrating business development with social responsibility, shaping a mission centered on meaningful, community-focused change.
Beyond external advocacy, Leone is deeply committed to internal growth and inclusion at Turner. They lead the M.I.N.D (Minority and Indigenous Nurturing Development) Employee Resource Group, providing mentorship, professional development, and community-building opportunities for emerging talent. Additionally, they play a pivotal role in diverse recruitment at Delaware State University, Temple University, and Community College of Philadelphia, ensuring underrepresented talent is supported and equipped for success in the industry.
A recognized leader in community engagement, equity, and workforce development, Leone holds key leadership positions within the Young Professionals Council of The Greater Philadelphia Chamber of Commerce and serves on the Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Committee of its Executive Board. As a juror for the Council on Tall Buildings and Urban Habitat (CTBUH) 2025 Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion Awards, they help identify and honor trailblazing projects that exemplify inclusive, people-centered design in the built environment.
Leone believes that all information is valuable—it’s just a matter of when and how it is applied. They approach their work with curiosity over judgment, always seeking to understand diverse perspectives, passions, and lived experiences. Outside of their professional endeavors, they are a dedicated advocate for innovation, creativity, and storytelling—and a proud enthusiast of gaming and anime, where strategy and world-building serve as inspirations for problem-solving and connection.
