Lars Anders is the Managing Director of the Priedemann Group, which deals with assignments relating to the facade or building envelope. In his role, Lars manages and leads, along with his managing partners, a team providing all services in facade planning, consulting and engineering as well as in other project-related assignments such as product research and functional development. Passionate about data processing, he pushes forward the company´s digital advancement.

Lars has been involved in the facade engineering and consulting field since 1985. He is a qualified engineer and holds a degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Applied Sciences in Berlin. His carrier started when he took over the family business as the Managing Director at Anders Metallbau GmbH, a well-known facade fabricator in Berlin at that time.

In 2002, he joined Priedemann – a highly successful company, established in Berlin by their founder Wolfgang Priedemann, who has been guiding the specialist engineering office for facade technology since 1993. With Lars´ engagement, the company spread its wings and opened offices in Dubai, St. Petersburg, Moscow, Beijing, Mumbai, Cochin and Nairobi. The group works on outstanding sustainable and complex building projects, representative of Priedemann’s philosophy. Whether it is the comprehensive consultancy package or a single engineering discipline; in a unique way Priedemann make their holistic full-service facade competency available to investors, architects, building contractors and fabricators, minding the gap between pre- and post-tender services and providing continuous support.

Drawing on many years of experience in the field of facade technology, Lars has given several lectures, with broader as well as specific issues such as technology transfer, process and management – providing networking opportunities and exposure to principles about sustainability and usability, especially for engineering newcomers. He lectures at trade fairs like the Windows Door & Facades in Dubai and BAU in Munich, business conferences such as IQPC in Doha, EAN RIBA in London or ZAK World of Façades worldwide, at universities such as the Delft University or simply in-house, sharing and enhancing knowledge on implementing developed innovations.
