About

Kurt Strobel has been working in the field of wind-induced structural dynamics and vibration control for over a decade. With GERB, he has been focused on the application of tuned mass dampers for improving occupant comfort and reducing dynamic loads for tall buildings and towers, long-span floors, and pedestrian bridges. Prior to joining GERB, Strobel was a Director of Engineering with CPP, Inc. where he studied wind-induced loads and responses of all types of structures, including tall buildings, telescopes, solar arrays, launch vehicles and transmission line towers.
