Kristian Ahlmark joined SHL in 2001 and since then has managed projects worldwide, including North America and China. Ahlmark has great technical skill and creative energy and has been involved in many of the studio’s competition projects - the Rocket&Tigerli, a residential tall timber building in Switzerland; VIA, a mixed-use focal point for the modern Oslo, Norway; a 22,310 square meter educational facility for the University of Applied Sciences in Utrecht, The Netherlands; and Malmö Live, the concert hall, hotel, and congress center in Sweden.

He regularly lectures on topics spanning the architectural process at universities, conferences, and organizations worldwide.
