Joining Nikken after graduating from the Department of Architecture, School of Engineering, Kyushu University, in 1989, Koko Nakamura has overseen the award-winning designs of buildings that span across sectors. Koko Nakamura has overseen the design of various noteworthy designs over her career with the firm, including complex mixed-use developments, large-scale headquarters and tenant offices. Her portfolio includes the YKK80 Building, the Yokohama Mitsui Building, and One Za'abeel. She is a qualified 1st Class Architect with memberships in the Japan Institute of Architects (JIA) and the Architectural Institute of Japan (AIJ).
