Jon is the evangelist for the architectural profession at Autodesk both inside and outside the organization. His role is to align Autodesk offerings and resources with the business of architecture, acting as a liaison among our clients and our internal sales, consulting and development teams. Jon works with many of our largest and most sophisticated client accounts, collaboratively building a technology vision that supports some of the largest and most iconic architectural projects and practices.

Jon has served on numerous boards and committees during his career – perhaps most notably his 8 years as the Planning Commissioner Chair in Longmont, Colorado. A licensed architect himself (CO) and graduate of the University of Illinois (BSAS ’92, MArch ’94), Jon has worked in traditional architecture and multi-disciplinary firms, design-build companies, consulting/owners’ representation, and real estate development. He was owner and managing principal of his own architecture firm, abe Designworks, for several years before joining Autodesk.

His broad experience across AEC has made Jon a proponent of his profession and his industry. And while he works daily with the highest of tech and is involved in its application at the highest levels, Jon sees technology as a tool, joining methodology and human talent & initiative to achieve our project goals.
