As a Design Director, Jim Keen brings his architectural expertise and process-oriented approach to a diversity of project types and client industries. Jim’s current focus is on hospitality and workplace projects as well as museum and medical facilities. Prior to joining Gensler, Jim worked in both the London and New York offices of Grimshaw Architects and Kohn Pedersen Fox Associates, where his projects ranged from small high-end workplace projects, to complex buildings, to master planning developments for clients in the education, aviation, museum, and medical sectors.

Jim’s design approach involves a rigorous analytical process that guides the design as it evolves from the larger perspective to specific details and architectural components.
