Jerome (JJ) Tobolski, S.E., P.E., MIStructE, LEED AP BD+C, is an Associate at Thornton Tomasetti’s Chicago office with 10 years of experience. A Chicago native, he has been involved in the design of numerous high-rise and cultural projects both domestically and internationally in addition to acting as one of the firm leaders in structural optimization. Local projects with his involvement include the Bienen School of Music at Northwestern University and the upcoming 900 W Randolph project in the West Loop. Internationally, JJ was instrumental in the performance based seismic design of the Akhmat Tower, a 400 meter plus mixed use signature skyscraper located in the city of Grozny and he contributed some analytical horsepower to the world’s next tallest tower when complete, Jeddah Tower.
