Jennifer Cover is the President and CEO of WoodWorks, a nonprofit program providing free project assistance and resources to architects, engineers and contractors designing and building non-residential and multi-family wood buildings throughout the U.S. Cover has been with WoodWorks since its inception in 2007, and took on the role of leading the program in 2013.
As a professional engineer, Cover started her career in structural design and construction management, working for KPFF Structural Engineers and Fluor Corporation. She taught Timber Design at the University of California, San Diego for eight years and also worked for the APA – The Engineered Wood Association. She has a Master’s Degree from the University of California, Berkeley and her experience includes business development, market analysis, project management and structural design, all with an emphasis on wood construction.
