Javier is a senior leader and architect with over 20 years of experience driving strategic, commercial and operational growth of consultancies, not-for-profits and academic institutions in the architectural and construction industry, with particular expertise in tall buildings.

Currently, as Chief Executive Officer of the Council on Tall Buildings and Urban Habitat (CTBUH), the world's leading non-profit organisation for all those interested in density and the future of cities, he is managing the global team that delivers CTBUH's services and solutions to thousands of professionals working in all building industry sectors in over 60 countries.
