Javier joined Hines as Senior Design Manager for Conceptual Construction Group Europe in 2022, he is responsible for project management, product requirement definition, design team coordination, concept development, design management and value propositions.

Javier is an Architect (ARB) with over 17 years’ experience working in offices in the UK, Spain, Netherlands and Germany on Projects across the world, and speaks Spanish, English and Italian. Javier holds a Masters degree in Architecture and Urbanism by the Seville Technical School of Architects (ETSAS) and a Construction Project Management Diploma by RIBA.

Prior to joining Hines Conceptual Construction Group Europe, Javier worked at Skidmore, Owings & Merrill (SOM) for 8 years in London, before which he was with Ector Hoogstad (based in Rotterdam) and EDDEA (based in Sevilla). Javier assists Conceptual Construction’s critical focus on placemaking and ESG. He supports the European Country teams during the pre-construction stage to ensure design & technical excellence by minimising construction, procurement and cost increase risks during the life of the project.

Javier has been invited as a guest critic for the MArch program at University of the Arts London – Central Saint Martin as well as at the UPC Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya.
