Jamie Kirkland joined Thornton Tomasetti in 2014, after spending two years practicing structural engineering in the aerospace industry. She has worked on many of the firm’s high-profile and architecturally complex projects, combining her knowledge of civil and structural engineering and architecture to inform the best design solution. In working on atypical buildings, Jamie distills complex structural ideas into simplified schemes that allow for close integration of architectural concepts. Jamie has a B.S. in Civil Engineering from Columbia University.
