Jamie is co-founder and co-owner of the Distillery District, a National Historic Site located a few minutes walk from downtown Toronto. Jamie coordinated the adaptive repurposing of the District’s 47 Victorian era industrial buildings to create what has now become an internationally acclaimed pedestrian village of brick-paved streets home to live theatre, galleries, fashion, design and jewelry boutiques and award-winning restaurants. Prior to co-founding Cityscape, Jamie was a project architect at Arthur Erickson Architects and then a partner in Matsui Baer Vanstone Inc., Architects focusing on university, hotel and multi-storey residential projects in Canada and the Middle East.
