James is an Architect with nearly 30 years of design experience, of which over 20 is in the Middle East.

He is the Associate Director at PNC Architects, the sole consultancy of Sobha Realty. His responsibilities are for the design output, management and profitability of the Dubai and Abu Dhabi territories.

He has a particular passion in heading the practices innovation hub which works closely with CTBUH and issues of modular construction and deep sustainability.

His design output has been at the heart of the Sobha’s transition to ever larger and more complex buildings and Masterplans.

Tower projects on site or completed number over 30, with a combined total of 20m sqft. of GFA and 19,000 apartments. Many of these projects have now been recognized in regional awards.

Currently, James is spearheading the design and delivery of Sobha’s flagship Hartland II masterplan and global headquarters: with particular emphasis on delivering the 10m sqft. 14 high-rise tower canal-lagoon district.

Upcoming projects include a 6.7m sqft, 6 tower development treated as a single integrated mixed-use complex.
