Through a number of profiled projects from domiciles and culture and town halls to universities and research buildings, including SDU in Denmark, Kiruna City Hall in Sweden, European Spallation Source in Sweden and Cincinnati University of Business in the USA, Jakob has gained extensive experience in integrating sustainability early. in the project so that it becomes a natural part of the design process. Jakob's participation in the creative team is a guarantee that the project's overall visions of sustainability are integrated early in the process from an environmental, a social and a financial point of view.
In addition to his role as head of the studio's sustainability department, Jakob also manages Henning Larsen's unique PhD program in collaboration with e.g. Danmark Tekniske Universitet, Massachusetts Institute of Technology and École polytechnique fédérale de Lausanne.
