Hites Ahir is a Senior Research Officer at the IMF. His areas of research expertise are housing markets across countries and forecast assessment. He previously worked at the Inter-American Development Bank, where he assisted with analysis of the Southern Cone economies (Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Paraguay, and Uruguay). He did his graduate work in economics at Johns Hopkins University.
