About
Hilary Selman has been immersed in Construction Project Management since 2012, driving the successful execution of projects ranging from large-scale condominium developments to meaningful community initiatives, such as a $1.5 million charity project for Stella’s Place. Currently, as an Assistant Project Manager at GCL Builds Limited, she plays a key role in managing a $113 million condominium development in Oakville, ensuring seamless coordination of teams and resources to meet ambitious goals.
A graduate of the University of Toronto with an Honours Bachelor of Arts in Urban Planning and Political Science, Hilary is deeply passionate about the intersection of urban development and policy. She achieved her PMP certification while at GCL, further solidifying her expertise in managing complex projects with precision and professionalism.
As a new member of the Toronto Chapter of the Council on Tall Buildings and Urban Habitat (CTBUH), Hilary is excited to bring her enthusiasm for sustainable urban design to the Steering Committee, helping Toronto prepare to host the 2025 International Conference. Having called Toronto home since 2008, she proudly considers herself a proper Torontonian—not least because she calls the City by its proper name: Tuh-ronno.
Outside of work, Hilary enjoys weightlifting, motorcycling, gardening, hiking, and whipping up creative dishes in the kitchen. Her multifaceted passions reflect her energy and creativity, qualities she’s eager to contribute to the CTBUH Steering Committee.
