About

Haakon Brouwer joined Dam & Partners Architecten upon completing his studies at Delft University of Technology in 2003. With over twenty years of experience in complex projects, Haakon rapidly developed himself into a highly versatile architect with a strong commitment to each of his projects throughout every phase of the design. His most notable roles include being a project architect for both the Zalmhaven Tower in Rotterdam and for the European Patent Office The Hague. The latter involved collaborating closely with the team of Ateliers Jean Nouvel, consultants and the team of the EPO. Currently, he is leading the design of the Schipholweg 1 project in Haarlem. Following from his familiarity with designing tall buildings, Haakon confidently engages in the Dutch high rise foundation and the European CTBUH community, affirmed by his position in the CTBUH Europe Scientific and Advisory Group.
