He graduated from Harbin University of Civil Engineering and Architecture (now Harbin Institute of Technology) majoring in Architecture.
Over the years, Mr. Yang has been devoted to the design practice in the field of urban public architecture with the people-oriented design concept, participated in the design of over 100 medium and large public buildings and has been awarded over 20 provincial and municipal prizes for excellent design. Besides, with rich experience in the field of convention and exhibition design, he has participated or headed over 10 convention and exhibition building projects in the past two decades with a total exhibition area of approximately 2,800,000m2.
Mr. Yang is the Chief Architect in the project of Shenzhen World Exhibition & Convention Center, which is the world’s largest convention and exhibition center. His design always starts from the perspective of urban design with respect for the functions and operation of convention and exhibition architecture. He has also actively explored the design strategies for the integration and interaction of the convention and exhibition architecture with the city to maximize the value of the architecture and urban areas.
