Gregory Chua is an accomplished and experienced project management professional with an outstanding track record of completing complex and diverse projects in Singapore and China for CapitaLand, one of Asia’s largest real estate development companies. Mr. Chua joined CapitaLand in 2003 after graduating from Nanyang Technological University with a bachelor's degree in Civil and Structural Engineering. His passion and potential led him to receive a scholarship from the Ministry of Trade and Industry and CapitaLand to pursue an MBA from the University of Birmingham. He began his career with CapitaLand in China, where he was involved in the development of residential and serviced residence projects.
In 2008, he returned to Singapore and took on numerous asset enhancement initiatives for CapitaLand’s shopping malls, including for the Group’s flagship mall, Plaza Singapura. In 2013, he was assigned to set up CapitaLand’s project office in Guangzhou, China, where he served as the General Manager for Project Design and Development. Upon returning to Singapore in 2015, Mr. Chua led several major developments as CapitaLand’s Project Director. Notably, he successfully delivered CapitaSpring – a groundbreaking 51-story integrated development with office, service residence, and retail components – which is among Singapore's tallest buildings. He currently serves as the Project Director for CapitaLand’s multi-stage rejuvenation of Singapore Science Park. This long-term project involves a comprehensive transformation of the precinct, which taps on his expertise in managing large-scale and intricate developments.
