Gita Maruthayanar is project director at Ramboll responsible for leading and managing teams on complex  projects. She has extensive experience in delivering sustainable building engineering designs on projects, with huge efforts to decarbonise the built form, reducing embodied and operational carbon in MEP design. She is heavily involved in mentoring through wider industry forums such as CIBSE and ASHRAE. Through her career Gita has worked on several high-rise buildings in New Zealand, Australia, United Kingdom, and the Middle East.
