Gita Maruthayanar is Associate Director at Atelier Ten, a multi-disciplinary engineering consultancy for the built environment specialising in sustainability and environmental design. She is responsible for leading design teams on high-profile UK projects, most notably Googles HQ in Kings Cross and the Royal Academy of Music. She has extensive experience in delivering sustainable building engineering designs on projects, with huge efforts to decarbonising, reduce both embodied and operational carbon in MEP design. She is involved in mentoring through wider industry forums such as CIBSE and ASHRAE. Through her career Gita has worked on several high-rise buildings in New Zealand, Australia, United Kingdon, and the Middle East.
