Gil Shenhav is a senior partner and general manager of Canaan-Shenhav Architects LTD, an architecture firm established in 1992. He graduated cum laude from the Technical Institute of Israel, in Haifa.

Canaan-Shenhav specializes in the design of residential neighborhoods and towers, senior citizens housing, commercial centers and offices. It has designed many tall residential towers and is regularly busy in the planning of towers across the Tel Aviv metropolitan area. Canaan-Shenhav works in multiple cities in Israel and abroad, and has established work connections with some of Israel's major construction companies and entrepreneurs.

The firm specializes in sustainable architecture. It designed the first sustainable neighborhood in Israel and is currently working on the design of the first residential complex which is due to obtain the LEED certification.
